A Family Business Since 1961

Malvern Studios was founded in 1961 by Les Hall who started his dream business in a cellar in Cowleigh Road, which has since evolved and become the fine antiques and lighting shop that it is today. Situated on the side of the Malvern Hills, in the beautiful Spa town of Malvern, Worcestershire Malvern Studios is home to a collection of fine antiques, mirrors, pictures and lighting.


The existing Cowleigh Road premises has been home to Malvern Studios since 1968 where Les's wife Doreen who also had a passion for antiques and collectables joined Les to help him run their busy shop together. Les and Doreen travelled the country searching for fine antiques, collectables and interesting curios to sell. Their passion for beautiful things has made Malvern Studios a unique place for fine antique furniture.


In 1971 son Jeff, an accredited member of BAFRA, joined Malvern Studios, and continues the family tradition of furniture restoration. Today, Jeff restores antiques to their former glory using original materials wherever possible.  

 

As Malvern Studios continued to expand, Soo and Lin joined the business to support Les and Jeff. Today customers regularly browse the many beautiful pieces of antique furniture.
