Restoration
Les Hall always had a passion for wood
and at the age of 13 was already making pieces for friends
and neighbours. He started an apprenticeship as a wood carver
at the age of 15 followed by an apprenticeship in Prototype
Cabinet making and veneering. At Night School he studied Cabinet
Making, Modeling, Free Hand Drawing and Figure Drawing. Les
gained experience working on prestigious projects including
Palaces and Embassies

In 1971, Jeff joined his accomplished father
having served an apprenticeship at Stanley Leroyd's Antique
Restoration School in Wimbledon. He also attended Brunel College,
Bristol achieving a City & Guilds qualification and completed
an advanced restoration examination with distinction. Jeff
is an accredited member of BAFRA and the UKIC. He has always
set himself an exceptionally high standard of workmanship
as can be seen in the lovingly restored pieces of furniture
on sale in the Malvern Studios showroom.
